Blade comes amazingly sharp. I tried out the ferro rod and it works great. Not sure how the loudness of this whistle compares to others on the market, but this one is loud. Love the versatility of this knife. The belt clip seems very strong, and held to my belt while testing. Can't wait to try this out in the outdoors. I love this knife as well as the fiber light! Both items are lightweight and work exactly as you'd want them too. Sharp, durable, lightweight, versatile, and the fiber light even works when it very wet. I first experienced them at the PNW Survival Games with David. He was awesome and the products were all amazing too.

first off, the knife is great. nice and sharp. sheath is much to tight, maybe it will break in with use. i can attest to the blade's sharpness, i wasn't paying attention while trying to remove the knife from its sheath and had my finger that was holding the sheath in the wrong spot, so now i have a nice big bandage on my finger. the sheath's tightness could be a no go for people with grip strength issues (or a bandaged finger :-}). delivery was unbelievably fast especially for USPS.
Thanks for the thoughtful review. We’re glad you’re loving the slicer feather knife and really appreciate your honest feedback on the sheath. It is designed with a snug fit for safety. The best way to open it is one-handed using your thumb to push against the sheath (near the back end of the ferro rod) while holding the knife handle—that trick usually makes it easier and much safer to remove the sheath. Sorry about the bandaged finger (ouch!). Thanks also for pointing out the speedy shipping!
