Well made, Comfortable . I use it daily to wear my scout feather, but I like wearing it alone too. I haven’t needed it for fire starting, but it did help dig out a splinter. . . So yeah! Highly recommend this necklace, and the company too. Fabulous customer service and quick shipping.

Purchased a scout feather last summer and loved it. After using it a bit more it has become one of my favorite pieces of gear, so much so that I just ordered 6 more. One for my wife, one for each one of the three kids , and one to keep in each of our vehicles so that we always have one on hand.
