I will start with what I liked. I backed the Kickstarter, and received my knife very quickly. I like the weight and compactness of the knife and sheath. I can clip it inside my pocket like a folder and not even notice it's there. The ferro rod throws a lot of sparks.
The handle is a little small, and can get uncomfortable in my hands, but that may be just a personal preference. My biggest complaint is that I bought it to use it as a boot knife, and within a week of wearing it that way, I noticed that the sheath had somehow gotten looser around the blade, and now it was rattling. Not that the blade could fall out, it was very firmly held in the sheath. But the knife could "wiggle" inside the sheath, causing it to rattle. Not sure how this happened.
Overall, a nice companion knife to take with you instead of a folder, with some very good features.
I love it. But the Ferro rod that came with the sheath was broken. Other than that, I this knife.
The Scout Feather is everything I was looking for! High quality, light weight and fits well in my hand. I bought this for my girlfriend to carry on our backpacking trips, but I like it so much I might have to keep it for myself...or buy another!
This is an AMAZING edc knife!! I like it over my CRKT glow minimalist bowie by a good percentage.Only one dislike and its kinda a big one. The factory clip extremely strong, the bad part is it has a "lip" (if can call it that) the will grab your cloths and it can/will rip your clothing. It can be used as scout carry but only for the left hand comfortably...

We appreciate your feedback about the clip and have taken note of your concerns. The clip was primarily deisnged for use with webbing such as on a sternum strap or a belt made of webbing. But we hear you and have new clip designs in the works...currently testing prototypes. They'll be less aggressive on cloth and leather, and they'll provide additional carry options. Haven't gotten a chance to use it yet in the great outdoors, but I thought I would leave some feedback as to why I chose this knife over all other options. First is the VG10 steel and full tang. It is the same steel used in a high-end Japanese sushi knife of mine. It should have really good rust resistance. Second, the glow is genius. Who wouldn't want the safety and convenience of being able to see your knife in the dark? Third, it was one of the best price points I could find. If you come across this knife, check its properties compared to others in the price range and its features may surprise you!
