Works flawlessly. I did iso butane canisters and the 1 lb propane canisters. With the propane 1 lb canisters you will need to use force and a little more leverage to puncture the canisters . I am pleased to know that this item has various replacement parts due to the nature of constant use for an item that has been in need for many years .

Useful and ingenious
Great tool, thoughtfully designed, and makes real progress toward solving a problem most of us just take for granted—throwing away perfectly good aluminum after a single use. Some of the silicone tabs have fallen out of mine, but it doesn't really affect the functionality.
