My second purchase of these whistles. I love using them on zipper pulls of jackets and packs/pouches, as well as lanyards on knives, flashlights etc. While the whistle isn't the LOUDEST available, the compact size and glow in the dark feature, and the reflective cord attached, make them ideal for my purposes. The glow (after good light exposure) lasts well enough for typical daily activities and adventures, and reflective cord adds another way of finding the whistle, zipper tab, or whatever item it's attached to in low light situations.
I got this to puncture propane bottles and it worked amazingly. Wasn't sure if I would be strong enough to use it but it worked easily without any difficulty.
I bought the Orange Glow Scout on Outdoor Element's Whatnot.com auction. Adding to my collection of their other knives and cool gear. This is a great addition! Cool orange color, easy to find amongst your gear during the day, easy to find at night in a dark tent. They engrave the knives they sell on auction, this one has an owl on it. Gave an engraved Contour to my dad, he loves it! Check out OE Whatnot auctions, they have other really cool and unique engravings they only sell on the auctions.
Also including a pic of my Grey Glow Scout while out exploring. It has lasted years, has taken a bit of a beating, but still looks new and is still sharp. I always carry a Scout and Fiber Light with me. OE products are a great value.
The fuel canister recycle tool works great and solves the problem of being able to properly recycle the canisters. I've not yet had a chance to try the pot gripper but I am sure that it will work just as well.
This is a good backpack pillow that can also serve as a seat while hiking or in camp. It inflates quickly and seals with a press on the spring valve. I used two camp pillows as a substitute mattress when I forgot to bring my Thermarest. One under the hip and another under the shoulder plus a sweater under the head.
