Now that you have opened your package, you may have noticed that there is very little, if any plastics in our packaging. This is very intentional.
Your product should last a lifetime, its packaging shouldn't.
Along with the items you ordered, you'll find fire tinder on the back of a thank you card.
Use the tinder, along with the filler packaging to start your first fire with your new knife!
Pull the tinder apart to expose the tiny fibers, then lay the tinder in the "nest" of the packaging.
Throw a spark by scraping the spine of the knife down the ferro rod...bam! FIRE.
Tip: Be sure to apply solid pressure, and strike in a linear, straight fashion down the ferro rod using the 90° cut section of the knife's spine.
Now that you have started a fire with your blade, we hope you're even more confident for your outdoor adventures ahead!
Always take time to practice. In times of emergency, most of us won't rise to the occasion, but will fall back on our training.
