It inflated with four puffs, it is relatively large, and soft to the touch. It folds up fairly small as well. G
A good price on it as well. Great for camping/backpacking.
I use this knife to start fires, open dehydrated food packages, cut food at camp...it's a sort of jack of all trades for me. I even carry it for safety when I walk alone. It's small and light and so easy to use. Very sharp and very durable. You can't beat the customer service. They are quick to answer and go above and beyond with their responses. This is the perfect knife for a 55 year old thru hiker and backpacker!!
Hi there, thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a positive review for our Scout Feather Adventure Survival Knife. We're thrilled to hear that it has become your go-to tool for all your outdoor adventures. Happy exploring!
Love the knife. One of my favorites I have some high end knives to choose from also. Chris reeves , mcnees, toor, I wish it had a kydex taco sheath option for pocket carry I donât much care for the sharpener on the sheath or the fire starter. With that being said a kydex taco sheath with a pocket clip, and some other steel options s35vn s45vn. Magnacut for th edc crowd. Then some outdoors heavy use like cruwear, m4, 3v, I would end up buying them all.
Thanks for the thoughtful feedback and for holding our knife alongside some truly high-end blades. That means a lot. We really appreciate the suggestions around sheath options, carry preferences, and steel choices, and weâll be looking into them as we continue to evolve the line. Feedback like this helps guide whatâs next. Thanks for taking the time to share it and for carrying our gear out there.
I use this set for my everyday lunch. I'm glad they included the upgraded spoon and fork because the original ones don't easily thread into the handles if at all. The chopstick tips are okay, but it would be nice if they were coated in wax/plastic, or were made of metal or plastic for durability and to make them easier to clean. The bamboo tips are like that of disposable chopsticks and food bits stick to them, one of my tips are a little off center when screwed in so that it's a bit more cocked to one side. On the plus side food doesn't slip out of them easily.
I haven't tried the billows.
Thanks for the thoughtful, detailed feedbackâwe really appreciate you taking the time to share how youâre using the set day to day. Glad the upgraded spoon and fork are working better for you. Your notes on the chopstick tips (fit, materials, and clean-up) are especially helpful and exactly the kind of insight we use to keep improving. Thanks again for putting it to real use and letting us know what youâre seeing.
Cheap, stays on, easy to put on and take off. I had worried it would come off more easily, but it's formed precisely to the wheel of the sparker.
Thanks for the review! Glad to hear it fits securely and does exactly what itâs supposed toâeasy on, easy off, and stays put. Appreciate you sharing your experience.
