Ever wonder what it’s like behind the scenes of a small business? You'll see struggle, strength, creativity, and grind. Chasing the dream isn't for the faint of heart.

My dream is to help everyone explore the outdoors with confidence. The OE mission statement sums it up…”Spark confident outdoor adventure through innovative gear.” Developing innovative gear is a passion of mine. Running a business also requires marketing, logistics, and fulfillment to get the word out and get product in your hands. It takes a lot of hats to run a business.

Critical opinions are sought after. Mentors and collaborators are treasured. The Campfire Co-Op Demo Days hosted by Georgia Bushcraft provided both in one place. This private weekend event gathered about ten small outdoor brands, startups and leaders in the industry together along with media outlets and influencers to share strategies and display innovation – really opening up to what works and what doesn’t.

“An outsider familiar with business tactics may think this event could be taboo as certain operations should be held close to one's chest in the cutthroat world of consumer interests, but instead, Demo Days was a coalescence of hive minds organically networking and sharing solutions to find common ground and further their individual or brand growth”,  Jacks Genega, Founder of Wildcard Wilderness LLC, writes in a blog post for Georgia Bushcraft.
